Catfishers get your poles and reels ready!  During our most recent general membership meeting last Saturday , December 6, 2008, dates for tournaments were set, plans were made, and the excitement continued!    

We have a fantastic year planned with six regular tournaments and a classic.   Anyone looking for a variety of fishing challenges in beautiful locations across the state of Arkansas needs to peruse our website and consider a membership with ACA.  

Sporting-Recreation Catfishing - Experience the Excitement!

Currently our members pursue the Sporting-Recreation of Catfishing supportive of our Constitution: 

            To cohesively, in harmony with nature and sportsmanship, pursue the
            sport of catfishing by means of tournaments using a rod and reel, catch
            and release, alive and well. 

The ACA is a newly established (Feb 16, 2008) 501c(7) private association Registered with Federal Tax ID, Constitution/Bylaws, Board of Officers, Annual General Membership Meeting, awards/banquet, and is family oriented, friendly, yet enjoys competitive tournament catfishing. 

2009 is our second year with monthly tournaments scattered throughout Arkansas and "we are here to stay."
